Causal Nexus between Sci-Tech Talent and Economic Growth in the Pan-Yangtze River Delta of China

Spatial coupling analysis, cointegration, and the Granger causality test model were adapted from a geographical perspective to analyse relationship between sci-tech talent economic growth, as well their spatial differences in Pan-Yangtze River Delta 1998 2019. The results demonstrate that centre of gravity are close each other, showing two parallel chains, there is higher overlap variation consistency centres gravity. Sci-tech growth long-term equilibrium, better fitting cointegration equation, which latter affects former. Shanghai has greatest elasticity, with 2.119 coefficient talent, while Zhejiang smallest elasticity 0.859. There causal nexus growth. Economic unidirectional effect on Jiangsu Zhejiang. bidirectional Anhui. also entire Delta.
